A collaboration with Nicolas Nova and the NearFutureLaboratory, the goal is to produce a time-lapse camera to study context in ubiquitous devices studies. This first one uses a 3 Mpixels camera with a NE555 timer. It's a quick'n'dirty prototype, the next step would be to use a microcntrller as in the catcam project or better the now famous microsoft sensecam that uses an accelero to detect no-motion period that reduce blurry image effects...

Arduino LED Project - Circuitry Closeup

Here you see, close up, the complex wiring required for each LED. Each one has 6 pins - one each for each colour (Blue, Red, Green, Blue) and two ground pins (middle on each side).
Each of the LEDs is running in parallel with the others in its' Universe. This cut down on wiring. There are less wires at the top because I only had to connect two of the three pins (I don't need two blue LED chips in each LED).

Universe 1 (Right) = Red
Universe 2 (Left) = Blue
They mix in the middle and make Purple and Pink. A nice array of colours.
