Perhaps the first college of its kind in the country, the Govt Fine arts college started as the Madras School of Arts. This institution is famous for the celebrities who've built Madras - including Robert Chisholm, KCS Panicker and Durga Prasad Roychoudhury (he of my famous Gandhi statue). It is quite fitting that I've taken a photo of this place - here is where the country's first course in photography was established.
Goucher College Peace Tiles Mural

Peace Tiles created by participants in a student-organized World AIDS Day workshop at Goucher College (Maryland) in 2007. The tile is headed to South Africa as part of a gift mural from students to a pediatric AIDS charity there.

An annual tradition nearly as old as the university itself, the SCAD Sidewalk Arts Festival offers students, alumni and prospective students an opportunity to create temporary chalk masterpieces on the paved walkways of Savannah's scenic Forsyth Park every spring.
