The Terrafugia Flying Car at the 2012 New York Auto International Auto Show

Possibly the most talked about "car" will be the Terrafugia Flying Car as it will be landing at the 2012 New York International Auto Show. This flying car is said to be capable of getting 35 mpg when on the road and up to 400 to 450 miles when in the air. The Terrafugia seats two people and also comes with four wheels, two wings, air bags, and a parachute if you purchase one, but they are not cheap as they have been priced at 9,000.

I've got by with earbuds up till now but, always wary of the safety aspects of using them in a car, I have come up with this hack. Much cheaper than an iPod-friendly car stereo and very much in line with the 'no.8 wire' mindset (Kiwi ingenuity).
My lo-tech in-car entertainment system; comprising:
1 x iTrip clone from the bargain bin at Magnum Mac
1 x large bulldog clip - free from my desk drawer
1 x zip tie cable tidy - free from the glove box
1 x piece of craft foam - free from kid's craft box.
