Photograph of the television scene at the conclusion of "Phone Booth", a triller I just watched on TV this week by chance. Anyone else bored by all the TV news about Barry Bonds and OJ? I usually try to catch CNN Headline news when I am on the road for business travel, but for the last several days it is "All OJ, all the time" with occasional bits about Barry Bonds with his drug issues. So I flipped around the channels and was captured by a drama I had no idea what it was and the context.. The movie "Phone Booth" was shown on a local channel and even though I only saw the last 45 minutes, I could not look away. The movie features Colin Farrell, Forest Whittaker and Keifer Sutherland. For those wondering about this image, it is not a photo manipulation but a straight forward capture from a TV of the final moments of the movie "Phone Booth". I shot 7 photos just to see what would happen, and 4 came out well enough I enjoyed working with them. This is my favorite of this series of 4 images. That is actor Kiefer Sutherland, the exquisitely-acted role of the villain in this thriller. See these reviews that reveal details of the concept and story, as well as viewer reviews. This was a really great movie to see, one made in 2002 but not released until 2003. For this 81 minute movie shot in "real time", it is heart-pounding with suspense.
